Yesterday was the last day of the season for us on Lake Don Pedro. Pretty great day overall, but the lake temp was down to 75 or so and I don't think the air temp broke 90 all day.


Gonna be a long winter.

Crazy how high the lake level is vs this same weekend last year. Here's hoping for another wet snowy winter!

We had a perfect fall day Saturday for our first annual fall boys golf weekend. We ditched the golf course for the boat early Saturday afternoon and on the way home from a few restaurant bars at the north end of the lake ran into an unexpected fire works show at the resort near our house. It must have been an end of summer celebration and we were one of only a couple boats still out on the lake when the show began at 9 pm. The fireworks were nearly as good as the 4th of July show from the same resort.

The boating season is just getting good in S Texas. The Spring was too wet and windy. The summer was too hot but finally it is getting very nice. Here are several pictures from last weekend on Lake LBJ.

Oh just squeezing every ounce out of lake season. Another beautiful sunrise here at TRL. Probably our last full lake weekend of the season. I’ll have more pics later today but here is a nice sunrise shot from the deck.

Haha, I bought Wendy and I sky diving jumps for Christmas 2010.....
That next spring, before we could do it, the company that I bought them from had a fatal plane crash with divers aboard..
We kind of got the clue...
We still want to do it though....
