Anyone else waiting for their 2021 R?

Good news. I received an update from my dealer on Friday. The R8s has arrived at the dealership. My understanding is that the dealer received about 24 hours notice prior to arrival. I have seen some pictures and it looks great. I'll share them later. Just for the benefit of the group, original estimated delivery date of June 7th; actual delivery of Aug 28th. Looking forward to getting it on the water next summer.

Nice T95. After reading about another user’s experience with their R8 and quality issues I’ll be curious to hear about your experience after delivery. Keep us posted my friend.

I'm curious as well as I have an R8S on order. I'm hoping these quality issues are few and far between. Hard to tell at this point if they are just normal glitches of a new model production or the beginning of a downward trend due to Malibu's influence on the brand we all love. Hope it's just a glitch of a new model production.

Yea I'm sure they are far and few between. Or 1st year issues. I can't blame BU even though I want to. It's still almost all the same employees and BU makes a darngood product. They sell over 200k boats too.

I live in Central Mn and I’m not done with summer yet! Why wait too get it in the water till next summer? I would be splashing that thing next week if it was delivered to my dealer this week! I would just make a deal with them to winterize it for me in a couple months when summer ends. If I was waiting all year for my new boat I wouldn’t wait another year to get it in the water. I would have it worn out garage boating! Lol

Snowman8, I'd love to get back up to Wisconsin and get it into the water. Unfortunately, life is getting in the way and we live the rest of the year out of state. First world problems no doubt. We offered to delay until later this winter to allow others with more time on the water to take delivery sooner, however I think it was too late.
