Not a lake picture but water! I went on impromptu date with my bride last night and we ended up on the canal in downtown Oklahoma City. Good Times!

My company is headquartered in Cali as well. I feel your pain about not fitting in with hobbies that include firearms. As a big pheasant hunter, I learned to keep it to my self. Now, the funny part is, I actually got flack for shooting sporting clays. Someone asked me what that was and I told them you shoot clay pigeons in various settings---the response---"How can you shoot those cute birds"..... It's a different mind set out west for sure.MnLakeBum wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2019 4:12 pmMy daughter said the same thing when I picked her up from high school with it strapped to the car. I love trying to embarrass my kids, lol!Ytmsn wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:57 pmA Tesla with a canoe strapped to the roof has to be the most ULtimate yuppy picture I've ever seen! It weighs in at only 43 pounds. Per pound it’s twice as expensive as my R5 Surf!![]()
Funny thing is, I never did fit in living in Cali. Yesterday I bought $70 of habanero beef sticks from a local meat market and today I bought 20 boxes of waterfowl loads and ordered a new Benelli SBE shotgun. My California neighbors would not approve of the beef sticks or the hunting!!
They are cute.
Thanks BB! She's sure a lot of fun. And the perfect lake dog!
Great pics ! Jax was worried about you! She knows your normal speeds!Ytmsn wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2019 9:53 am Yesterday while out cruising, Jax got disgusted at going so slow. She would perch out on the bow, then run back and look at me like
"Hey bud? This isn't fun? Gas this sucker!"
Then we rode along the cliffs and went back into some of the coves. It was pretty cool with the docking lights.
Then we sat by the fire until late (or early) into the night. Some of these kids nowdays just cant hang with the old guys!

But later on in the day the winds died and we had one heck of a sunset cruise! Temps were in the low 80’s so it was perfect. Almost had the lake to ourselves
