It doesn’t match the factory color exactly but it doesn’t look bad.

Barry turn your phone sideways when you take them and they'll be fine. I like your setup, but be careful you dont get into much if a breeze. I bought the $30 umbrella too, and the first time we had a gust of wind it snapped right above the crank.

It definitely doesn’t feel as strong as others! I appreciate the posting tip.

Hey folks, slight delay as I decided that these parts would be a good time to upgrade to a roller style steady rest for my lathe. Should be in by the end of the week. But I really need that thread size. Could someone with an R* that wants one of these measure the thread on their ski pylon? Measure the outer diameter, how far it sticks out and then count the number of threads showing. Thanks!

Bumbrella update from Wally World. I went to take my $30 Cheapo broken unbrella back today and discovered they are now listed at half price, so I bought two! One red and one in tiki-grass. All the summer stuff is discounted now so they can make room for Christmas.
Really?

Nobody can measure this thread size? Pretty please? Where are all the folks who were so excited for me to make these? Not feeling like there's enough interest for me to finish these up.

I am interested, I won't be back to the lake for another week but asked my brother to take the pic. If he doesn't I will in a week.

Thanks guys. I should have the first unit done to send to someone for testing mid next week assuming I get the thread size by Sunday when I get back from the 'lakehouse'.
