Steering wheel controls

Post by abdooleo'tool »

I just installed a stereo which has the adapter for steering wheel control, vol. +- etc. Has anyone ever experimented with adding a car steering wheel to a boat? My 88 Condurre's wheel is looking a little shabby so I was thinking I could bolt on a Cadillac wheel and connect all the controls. I could even swap out the airbag for a flotation device. Now that would be cool.

Way easier to just use your phone thru bluetooth.

No need to reinvent the wheel...so to speak.

I'm guessing that's a good thing in Wisconsin?

This RF steering wheel control completes all the bells and whistles and two year effort (speakers, amps, tower, remotes, rewire, battery ACR, and $$$$) for my RF boat stereo system. The boat will now either sink, catch fire and explode, or I'll blow the engine... watch. I may just keep it in the drive way and party on it while its on the trailer.

Your last name must be Murphy. Not to add to it, but driveway could turn into sink hole.
