220s on a decent trailer... will put on Uship, for sure, but didn't know if there were any local recommendations.

Thanks

would love if it was that reasonable... was hearing $2-3 per mile from others, hoping you are right and they are wrong.

Did you buy it already? When are you looking to get it towed?

Hey IB. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

I used Uship for a 26’ footer towed from Vegas to Pittsburgh on an almost new trailer. It's much cheaper shipping from west to north-east for a number of reasons. (or as Liquid states....that’s because it’s not shipping from South to North which is uphill. )

I paid .77 per mile out the door thru u-ship (pre Rona)

Looking forward to your pics down the road. :D

Again welcome aboard mate!

2 years ago I spoke to a transport company at the minneapolis boat show. They want $3800 to put my Boat and trailer on a flatbed to Charlotte. Everyone has their own ideas of good pricing. Crazy

I've just heard Uship can be hit or miss sometimes... you have to do some vetting of carriers insurance/license/ etc... I always try and get a recommendation if at all possible!

not purchased yet, trying to figure out if cost to trailer is worth it vs trying to find something closer.

I see your dilemma. I was in a similar position last year. With the way boats are selling I would be leery of any boat in that price range that is for sale long enough for you to line up a surveyor(up here anyway). I just saw a nice 246 sell in day just last week.
