It’s a 2011. Seems the most common year for these that are for sale.

Storing it in another indoor storage spot for this winter. Light looks like a pain to remove. The local marina offers a summer slip/indoor winter storage package that is nearly the same as their summer slip only. That may be the better long term solution.

You sure it's not a 6.0?
Sorry, yes, 6.0. That was a legit typo.

I guess I should fix my sig. :)

Much better. You know I never have it a second thought till you said something.
It would be neat to see a 8.1 gxi 420 then a 6.0 430 and a 6.2 430 line up in the same boat and let them run.
I think the 6.2 should take it but also maybe load them up with 10 people and a full tank. Real world conditions.

The A series boats are heavy, not really speed boats, but it handles and runs pretty good for the model boat it is. Like driving a nice comfy cadilac down the road, but then it will wake up, and run to 60 like a little jet boat when wanted. I also like that it will cruise at 45mph at 3500rpm. Just hit 115hrs on it a couple weeks ago, and no issues so far. Its had regular maintenance, I am kind of a maintenance freak so it is spoiled. These Merc 520s are nothing like the higher reving larger blue motors, and will not need all the maintenance and tear downs. It is just like my old A25 boat that had the Black Merc 8.2 in it, will a little more kick in the rear.

That's what we like to hear. Kick in the rear. Love it.
I can't imagine they made too many with that combo. She's a keeper. That would definitely be my next boat wish. Congrats.

Beautiful boats! Are the phased out because they are similar to the R series?
