Courtesy light replacement in 2003 263
I’m not at the boat now and was wondering what kind of bulb the courtesy lights take? Is it a t10 bulb? Wanted to replace with led. Thank you.
Re: Courtesy light replacement in 2003 263
Just did a replacement of the interior lights (same as courtesy?) in my
2008 272. Originals were festoon bulbs, 29mm. I used blue LEDs, but white
are available also. The replacements are 30mm, and the extra length
did present some difficulties, but they all installed.
The ones I ordered were off ebay, from China:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/10x-Blue-Car-3 ... 2749.l2649
$5.98 for 10 "bulbs"... cheap enough.
I don't know if they light fixtures for 2003 and 2008 are same/similar.
The one bulb in the rear-entry passageway was different... a 194 series.
(bayonet type). That replacement fit in fine. You do have to try the LEDs
for correct polarity before working them all the way in.. reversed polarity
doesn't light.
