2013 R5 Bimini Frame replacement ?

Post by wingfan13 »

I bought an 2013 R5 and the on both sides the part of the frame you unscrew each time to fold the frame are so rusted they are unusable. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with a non OEM frame that uses the existing hardware on the boat ? I have seen reviews all over the place. I don't mind spending money on a quality frame. I have an email into my parts dealer to see if they can just get me the original frame.

I would get the original of you can. You are coming up on the 7 year itch.

So I am going take the factory bimini off my 2013 A25 this winter and replace it with a wake tower with integrated bimini.

If you can confirm that the bimini is the same (and I would be surprised if it wasn't), I'd be happy to sell mine to you.
