Bad news from the shop, water intrusion in drives again

Is there a place that rebuilds Volvo drives for reasonable prices? Don't want to pay a dealers high labor rate and markup on parts to do this

Has anyone ever heard of www.marinepartsexpress.com ? Drives are $12k each through Volvo, they have new ones for $8k each with 1 year factory warranty. Just wonder if this place is reputable?

Never heard of them, but they accept PayPal so you can at least get protected by going through that.

Yea I think they are up in KC!

Other option is to go with DPS-B and get the hubs to be able to use my props with the helical shafts. Everything I've seen is they should bolt right up. Found brand new with a 1 year factory warranty from Michigan Motorz for right around $8k with the hubs included

The shop called Volvo yesterday to get a price on the DPS-B, they recommended staying with the DPS-A for our size boat, and offered to knock off $4k a piece, so brand new drives with Volvo warranty for around the price of remans. Hoping to be back up and running in less than 2 weeks
