One of two hour meters not working

Post by boatdoc40 »

1999 292 with less than 300 hours Twin 350s with bravo 3s

My starboard engine hour meter has not worked for some time; the port meter works fine. Thoughts? I THINK the meter is fed from the coil, but am not sure. Should I try to trace the circuit or replace the meter?

Bill found your thread here. Swap them side to side that can tell you power from ignition loss or meter.
