Still say you should've kept it.

Anyway, several things. BB, it is a f#@%in' Deere!

Kate. Correct. even if I'm not using it it better be perfect.

CMatt. Cranks and will start but dies unless I keep choking. I've moved on to "it's gotta be the fuel pump phase".

YT. 1) Mowers are capable of many things besides mowing. Look into it. 2) Some (few) people have a back yard AND a front yard. Often time some (few) people (and their wife in particular) are more concerned about the appearance of their front yard. See "Leaves" and "Fall". 3) Don't you dare criticize my dirt.

"I want to know what you're mowing this time of year. Dirt? The last picture I saw of your yard looks more like a plowed garden instead of a lawn."

C'mon Yt. You're slippin. L's mower is like his boat: It needs to be in pristine condition -- even though he never uses it.
"Now let's get back to Kate the onion. Kate, I'm still stumped at your intimate knowledge of Cobalt but lack of knowledge on an anchor locker in your boat?"
You are relentless. Let's see if this satisfies you. Would you be "stumped" to discover that the CEO of McDonald's knows important info about corporate operations, but not where the french fries were kept in stores in 1985? Besides, users (i.e., you Cobalt cultists) often devise ingenious solutions to product problems.
"I know you've gone dark here lately, but if you dont show up soon and start stirring again I'm going to start making things up as I go. Nothing like the facts of a good rumor!"
"start making things up"?

.
She likened herself to A CEO?!?! It IS PACK!

Would the CEO of McDonald's know a lot about SeaDeck? A member on the forum had a McBoat for awhile, I personally liked the golden arches on the 262 but that's just me. Weird coincidence.
Like this guy? 😂😂😂

Sure, open to ideas. We're not making money off the summer items, just something fun, but if we're doing it wrong it would be good to know.

Does it involve Snakes? I bet it's Snakes. And A turtle. All riding in a 190. Hell maybe the Turtle is skiing behind the 190 with the snakes driving. Now THATS a shirt I would buy.

Since this thread is sort of, kind of, maybe about Cobalt, I thought I'd post this lengthy quote. It captures the essence of the Cobalt culture: excellence in action. It is inspiring (and refreshing) to see a company where pride in one's work is taken seriously -- even down to the person who caulks!

"Recently, Callan happened upon two workers arguing so vehemently he assumed one of them had stolen the other's wife or girlfriend. The dustup, however, proved entirely work-related. One assembler, a farmer, was making it clear he wasn't happy with some component. The other assembler, also a farmer, was a bit slow in seeing the light. But eventually the second assembler said, 'You know what, that's not right. Give it back to me, I'll do it again.'

"'It amazes me how often I hear that: 'It's not right, I'm going to do it again,' says Callan, who left a boat builder in Michigan to join Cobalt. 'It's one thing to come to Kansas knowing Cobalt is a good company, another thing to actually see how much people really care.'

"They care so much that 200 or 300 of them drive down to the Tulsa boat show each year to stand proudly by the boats they fashion. 'I like to see what everybody else's boats look like,' says vinyl worker Joyce West, a 23-year Cobalt veteran. 'You can see where the others leave jagged screw heads, and the paint lines aren't so good, and the caulking -- when we caulk it has to be a perfect bead. I know. I caulked.'"

What a great story Kate!
I got that same sense in just a short visit there. We were fortunate enough to have seen the upholstery department working on a “ off day “ to help production for the following Monday.

This pic has stayed with me because I describe to my friends how the stitches are so crucial in Tension, that it dictates the longevity of the panel itself.
She had 3 sets of recently sewn panels aside because it didn’t meet the proper thread tension when tested.
Whaaaat?? Who does that right?
Then I realized it’s her Career, and not just a Job.

That is the Cobalt secret sauce. Every company preaches: Quality product. Quality customer service. Cobalt actually practices it.

"'That’s something that gets far more than just lip service at Cobalt,' says Bill Wallisch, the company’s CFO.

“'Every day, if it’s not a quality product, it’s not going out,' he says. 'They preach the need for quality, and people here truly believe in it.'”

And now I know why you were so insistent that my cuddy cushion be placed properly: They built it right. You'll display it right! ;)
