Cobalt Emblem Plaques

Post by EricD1010 »

Looking for side Cobalt emblems for a 1975 18’ trihull. Does anyone know where I can buy them or get remanufactured ones? Thanks for any help out there.

There is an outside chance that you can get them from Cobalt... I had a 89 19BR... They do have inventory, just not sure how far back. Reach out to your local Cobalt dealer.. Will look over on Facebook and see if I can dig up who recently bought some of those an report back if I can get more info.

Couldn’t track down part numbers, but one of my Classic Cobalt buds says they can be ordered thru a Cobalt Dealer. You can call Cobalt ask for Dwight to verify availability..

Pricing on the other hand...... :)

Are they decal inserts or paint! Looks like you could have decal replicated to go inside and cover what’s there.
If you got great measurements or a mock side imprint you could leave them attached.

Thanks guys for all your help and ideas... I am determined to bring this thing back to life. If anyone has a good example of the blue “C” plaque could you send me a picture in case I go with the vinyl sticker overlay option.

We are trying to get something like this going. The emblems are still available through cobalt, last i knew they still had stock. But from what ive seen and heard they dont last long and they are way overpriced ($50 per emblem). Hope to have a vinyl decal in the works soon from a high resolution scan.

That would be really cool, I have called 5 dealers now and no luck, left a message for someone at cobalt Corp as well to get back with me. Guess it’s back to work on the boat today while I have another good day of weather...
