Depth, water air/temp gauge 2011 242

Having a few problems with this gauge... the LCD seems to have gone bad. It’s very dim and difficult to read. It also misreads depth CONSTANTLY and alarms (very annoying).

Questions:

- can this gauge (far left of gauge cluster) be replaced?
- is there a way to disable the audible depth alarm?
- I also have a depth readout in the speedometer gauge that works great. I have to press a button under the dash to cycle through info to get to depth. Is there a way to default that gauge to depth?

On my 2011 242 they are not as clear as the other digital readouts also, but readable.

The alarm can be adjusted.

The instructions for setup for this gauge is in the owner's manual (Section 3, 3-22). If you don't have one, PM me with your e-mail and I will send you my electronic copy. I would put the instructions here, but they're lengthy and Cobalt has the manual locked so I can't copy / paste.

What engine so you have, I might have that manual also electronic.

Thanks Drill... I do have all the manuals. They’re in the boat, so will look it up next time I’m out.

Mine is pretty much unreadable, so I’d still like to replace it if I can identify the right manufacturer and part.

I like the electronic version so I can word search. It is pretty big and sometimes hard to find what your looking for.
