TRL Cobalt/CC Regatta 2019
Re: TRL Cobalt/CC Regatta 2019
After lunch they pulled out and left. We met up with
Fun2Fish and he led us over to the Liquid Lounge where we spent the afternoon with gdane.

More from the meetup
.
Check out this baby. When he left he was jumping some serious wakes and getting air! Then the hour ride back with Mrs Nauti and BB jamming in the bow.
Today is the Regatta and meetup. And tonight is a lemonade festival!

Re: TRL Cobalt/CC Regatta 2019
Matt should have offered Pack a bottle of Lemonade. Pack seems like the kind of guy that enjoys vodka with a splash of organic no pulp lemonade. Compromise nothing.
I hate that I always come up /w these killer ideas just a bit too late.

It really was. Probably won't even waste my time editing up all the gopro footage for a movie...it won't be any good!

Re: TRL Cobalt/CC Regatta 2019
Jeesh. Matt and Lisa introduced me to car bombs and last night I think I blew up a whole parking lot...
Yesterday was freakin awesome. We rode out to meet the Calvary at Kimberling City bridge and joined the parade when they came by.
For the Classic Run Tim got stuck in the back of the pack in the bad water and got beat up a little, so he said this time he's going to gas it and get out front in the clean water. I told him we ran out front with the Classics, so this time I was planning on just letting them go by, then let the water settle, then motor along bringing up the rear, and good ole Tim saiys "Well, okay, I'll do the same".
Well, we started out that way but I guess the racer in me is still there. It wasn't long before we were running at the front of the pack and stayed there all the way to the Chateau, and poor ole Tim was stuck at the back again in the rough water. Sorry ole buddy!
That's a crazy experience, running with that many boats that fast and that tight for that far, and I LOCE it!!
We tied up at the marina for lunch, and it seemed like a good idea to stay there when everyone else eased out into the cove where the band was playing. We were already tied up at the end of the dock with 10 or so boats when the first two had to pull out, so we had already experienced having to pull several boats in to fill the gap. That, and we were floating in the water behind the boats, so we didn't see the need to go tie up with everyone, knowing we would be pul5out before everyone else. In hindsight we probably should have because it looked crazy! But when we did pull out we idled through the pack to take some pictures.

Re: TRL Cobalt/CC Regatta 2019
Let's see..
There was ytmsn and wife, Matt and wife, Big Block and Team Nautie on my boat. Bfun was there with his own banana boat. And of course tgrace was there because this is his home lake! (Lucky dog!) And over the week we met up with gdane and fun2fish. Then yesterday we met sheruffdeputy and his gang along with whitelightning. I'm sure I left someone out, and sorry if I did. Right now my brain is still clouded with the smoke from the car bombs...
Last night was a blast! The band we listened to at dinner turned out to be the same guys that played the Regatta! We met some new friends there, and Matt tried his best to get us into trouble. I'm sure there may be some incriminating photos show up, but I'll just go ahead and deny any wrong doing right now. Those photos are "staged "
Jeesh, having fun will wear a guy out. I can't imagine what it would have been like with Tusc, A7 and Liquid here! I guess next year we'll find out?
Now to load the boat and make the trip back to reality.
