And because we’re getting ready for our endeavors. Here’s a classic Cobalt bowrider with side exhaust , and a factory swim platform.. way ahead of its time!

That's a cool classic Matt. It's interesting that all the boats (except the toons) are backed in and tied off without anything tied in the front. That would never fly here because of the wakes, waves and wind.

It’s a protected cove so it’s calm. They are maximizing boat parking as windmill cove is booming. One side tied boat uses 4 sterned in spots. Plus once you get used to stern in parking it’s easy to board.
We will find a practice boat this week 🤣

Oh I dig it and totally understand the space issue. But more importantly, the boarding issue! There are places on our lake that would make since until that ONe jakeleg decides to surf just outside of the "no wake" buoy, or ignores it altogether.

We have a protected cove just outside of our little marina and idiots come blowing through all the time past the no wake zone. You'd think with 20 or 30 boats anchored out and tied together they'd have a clue...

I used to shoot potatoes at them but dropped my gun in the lake. That was probably a good thing..

Now I now we are related😎.

We just offer bottled water to our speeders... It’s possibly an overhand throw, but it’s meant to be kind🤣🤣

Well, our Maine vacation went off wonderfully. Had a great 2 weeks, weather was great except for 2 days.

Spent every fair weather day on the boat. Cruised up and down Eggemoggin Reach, visited Brooklin, toured Deer Island thoroughfare (tricky channel with lots of lobster traps set), visited Stonington, toured around Blue Hill Bay, bopped over to Acadia, visited Buck's Harbor, toured Cape Rosier and Castine, very long daytrip to Islesboro, Camden and Vinalhaven.

Boat did great, even tho the speedo on the boat conked out (luckily have a backup speedo on the Lowrance). Having BoatUS towing service was a good decidsion I got snared in some stupid lobster buoy ropes at Somes Sound and Blue Hill Bay, but the local tow guy was a good sport. Conditions were incredibly good, only 2 days did it become a bit snotty in the afternoon. The first one was a little hair raising, then I remembered about 'tacking' into the wind to hit the waves at 45 or 90 degree angles. I used the Maine cruising guides and my waterproof charts constantly (good purchases) and had very little problems docking the boat and picking up moorings..but my hands got pretty sore, rowing out and back to the mooring every day.

House had a great view. Owners allowed us to join them during their trip to the Stonington Lobster Boat Races, which was loads of fun. Great meals at Penobscot's Bagaduce Lunch, Penobscot's Bayside Takeout, Buck's Restaurant in Brooksville, Brooklin Inn bar, Brooklin Inn Restaurant, Acadia Provisions in Stonington, Charlotte's Lobster Pound on MDI, Mariner's Pub in Sedgwick, Camden Deli and Castine's Captain's Catch...plus a half dozen picnics on the boat.

A great time had by all. Thanks to all those on CC who helped me buy the boat and prep for this trip!

we've been having a blast in Seattle with some new toys for daughter and cousin!
ZUP Board is a hit, easy for all the kids, and a fun board for more advanced adults.
i like that it is a durable plastic rather than fiberglass, no dings to worry about like the nicer wakesurf board.
Also love our 3 person couch tube from Radar! roomy, can go fast, can handle big wakes easy
