New Surf Storage in Head area

I’ve never understood the point of the bathroom on an open bow boat. I’ve now had 2 with them and both the first thing I did was yank the portie. Makes for awesome storage though!

Hahaha, I won’t be without a power flushing toilet. Women pee frequently, especially when drinking beer....and after years of “I gotta pee” I don’t want to hear it, and now I don’t have to!

You nailed it with that. All I hear now is could you stop the boat for a minute. Followed by sure, who needs a drink?
I love not having to beater back to shore for the ladies.

I got the surf storage in my R5 Surf. It only holds four small surf boards the longer ones won’t fit. I ended up taking out the board rack and using bags for the surf boards and wake boards with room left over for a tube.
Behind the board rack is unfinished and doesn’t look very good. I wish I just would’ve ordered the standard head and removed it, I think it would have turned out much better.

The head was the only requirement by Mrs akor, with 2 young ones and a wife I’d spend more time docked for potty breaks thank boating. I’ve never used it, but the rest of the fam does all the time. I can still store the bow filler cushion and day bag in there, so works great for us.

Did the 5 gal bucket with a Bass Pro camping toilet seat that snapped on the top in our last boat, had plenty of room on the bilge for it, but privacy was limited and I had to shut the engine off for people to use it. Was nice and warm when it got cool at night though!

Hey jpm. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

What type of head do you have installed? Vacu flush? Sani pottie? Honestly it wouldn’t be too difficult to remove. Pull and cap the lines after you unbolt or unlatch the head. Any pics?
