We just got steady 72 plus water temp in the Delta as the latest warmup helped a ton! it’s been 105 degrees here for two days.
Yep two seasons in Northern California folks.

Hard to beat the beauty of Tahoe! We had a condo on the water in Kings Beach for 11 years until last April and we always spent a full week at the lake for 4th of July - lots of great memories. It looks like that first shot is in Crystal Bay?
Surface water temps in the peak of summer will only get to 60*, I’ll guess it’s about 57* right now. Near shore or right at the surface the temp can reach 67* but away from shore the lake is always “refreshing”. Most don’t realize Tahoe has an average depth of 1,000 feet!

Yes water temp is a refreshing and brisk 57*........I'll be diving in soon to grab my ladder in 9ft. of water......
