Windy and cool today but we had a great day on the water yesterday visiting a few of our favorite lakeside restaurants. So glad summer is here!

Keep the images coming. No boating here. Saturday was overcast and in the 50's. Yesterday was 70's and blue sky, but alas, the only day in the next 10 that doesn't have rain, so nothing but yard work. Currently, 51 and raining, wind chill of 47. Great Memorial day I guess.

Visited the local cemetery today overlooking Lake Erie.

Every year we have each of the kids place seven American flags next to a different branch of service member’s graves. They have to find each branch of the military and place one of five flags at the gravesite.

...plus one for the tomb of the unknown soldier.

...plus one for POW’s anywhere they want.

Gentleman below on a whim was playing Taps at his dad’s gravestone. B-24 pilot who flew 30 missions and made it home. Very moving.

I liked the size and layout of the Formula, but the 20° deadrise caused it to hull slap quit a bit. The Cobalt rides much better and still has a really nice layout. Plus I'm loving the stainless arch and windlass! The 302 definitely got put to the test at LOTO this weekend 😁

Yep, it is Bar Harbor, very good. The second one is Grand View Lodge looking south.

Well, we got one perfect day before rain shut the lakes down again, and with rain every day for the next 7 days it may be a while...

Still, soaked it all in with a 12 hour day with some friends and our favorite spots on the Chain.
