Tried to tell you the personality would be the deciding factor in the end. Glad your happy and I’m sure the pup will soon understand how lucky she is to have landed in such a great place

Thanks Sailor. I was thinking about what you said when the change was going down. We felt bad about changing our mind because Surf was a doll, but this is a potential 15 year decision. She just bonded immediately. Our breeder was definitely pushing the male, but this pup wouldn’t have any of it. She made it crystal clear that we were her choice. She was exactly what I pictured with face and coat.
Then my wife went WAY below the belt for the killshot. The breeders young children were there, and Wendy asked them which pup they recommended for us... well, both of them said Sunny.

She is wonderful! Loves to be held, loves attention and I. Really surprised how well she did on the way home. Once we got home, there was no fear, no shaking or shivering. She just walked in and said “I’m home yo”...
She slept all night and woke up happy as can be.

He totally is! He was a hit at Lowe's last night... Who knew all the employees carry treats in their aprons! He wanted to say hi to everyone and vice versa.

Marzen slept thru the night since day 1... I wasn't expecting that so that was a bonus! Hopefully you all have the same luck! Can't wait for more pics!

That's soo cool! Glad you could make a last minute switch like that! She definitely gave all the right signs and no doubt I would have done the same thing. Picking the right personality and making that "connection" is so important with a new member of the family.

Housebreaking is absolutely possible at 7 weeks but not too common. It means your breeder did a great job with socialization and scheduling. Kudos to them
