Neither my analog or digital speedometers are working.
Inspected the leg and the problem appears to be the inlet. The previous owner had hit something and put a small ding in the leg exactly where the pitot inlet is for the speedo and it's closed off. I can see the hole but it's probably half the diameter it should be.
Could I use a a drill bit or something similar and open it up? I was able to put a wire up the pitot so I don't think it's blocked, just restricted.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I would use an abrasive tip on a dremel to file the material away. A drill may walk and open the side of the hole instead of clear the obstruction, an abrasive tip will give you more control. It's aluminum, won't take much.

Sorry should have been more specific.
I wasn't going to use the actual drill, just the bit. I think I could put it in the hole and wiggle it enough to open it up.
I don't have a Dremel but like that idea and could likely borrow one...
Thanks for your reply.

If it's loose enough to pick out with a drill bit go for it, I was picturing the aluminum crushed into the hole.
