Thanks Aslan, 2008 212 on Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas. I definitely found the gussi steering wheel on ebay but looking for the cobalt emblem to go with it. Know where I can find one?

I've got the same steering wheel as the older one in the first page of this thread, but wood grain. I'm not sure what the size is of the decals that are on either of the steering wheels. My boat is an hour away so wont be able to measure till later this month. The one you mention for $7, is that the same decal as on the old steering wheel or the engraved decal? Thanks for your help.

Really a tease. I just sent you the pm with the picture. No it's not the engraved one. It's the woodgrain one. Could someone engrave a blank center prob. Can guzzi maybe. Tell us tell us!

Well, I found the distributor of the gussi wheels that are selling on ebay and contacted them asking about the cobalt logo. I was told that when you place the order on ebay to add a message to send with the cobalt logo. I attached a screen shot of my email. Make sure you search the correct item # on ebay listed on the screen shot!

What puller are you using to take the original steering wheels off? Is this harbor freight deal the right thing: https://www.harborfreight.com/bolt-type ... 62620.html ?

Thanks man! I just ordered one with the note attached for my 272, I'll let you guys see it when it arrives next week.

Also, O'Reilly Auto Parts and most of the others will let you use a puller for free, you just a pay a deposit that they refund when you bring it back. That's how I changed the wheel on my 232.

You prob won't need a puller. Give the wheel a tug towards you. If it doesn't come off put the nut on even to the end of the shaft and pull back on the wheel a give the stud and nut a good sharp hit with a hammer and the wheel will come off.

Nice! Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. And I confirmed with the seller they all have the Cobalt emblem. She said we do not need to specify that. (I would anyway to be sure). Sure looks like the real deal.
