Guys if your coming I need you to PM me with the names of everyone coming in your party per Cobalt. They have asked for a list of names for an accurate head count.

So, PM me! I think a big reason why is they want to make plans according to the size of our group.

I told them we have the only active Cobalt Chat group online with close to a thousand members, with the greatest Cobalt enthusiasts ever, and we think we're kind of a big deal. And right now I have 6 confirmed...

Also, I talked to Jane in Customer Relations today and she reaffirmed that they need names and a head count. We're up to 13 confirmed now, and its shaping up to be a great trip!
She said they want to do something special for us but I have no idea what that is. I'm sure they're looking at how many we show up with before they make complete plans.

AND rumor has it that Paxton may join us! How cool would that be? Again, it's just a rumor so don't anyone get their hopes up just yet, but I'm going to try to to see of this can be confirmed. And how can he resist when he hears that all the cool kids will be there?!!

We need all of you! Everyone is invited! This trip will be one of a kind. Sure we can book another one next year or when ever. But this trip is where a bunch of folks come together from literally all parts of the country and meet face to face for the first time, and all with a common interest. That will never happen again.

The first time I ever experienced that was with Tgrace and Gdane last year at Table Rock Lake. We all went into it with a little apprehension and excitement mixed together. Gdanes better half didn't know what to expect and almost didn't come. She thought we had all lost our collective minds, meeting axe murderers or who knows what! And it was freakin awesome. We had SO much fun, and are planning to meet again next year. And my wife and I are really looking forward to seeing them again in KC and on this tour!

So you guys need to get off the fence and make plans to be there. It will be awesome.

I had some reservations about this tour happening on Cobalt's "off" day now that they have gone to a modified work week. So I made a few phone calls.

Yesterday I spoke with Derek who is in Customer Relations. Like YT mentioned, Derek will be one of the individuals guiding us on this tour. I was also on a brief conference call today with Julie (Director of Cobalt Sales & Marketing) as well as Executive Secretary, Jane, with whom YT has also been speaking. My primary question was how different this tour may be due to the skeleton crew working that day. Fortunately it sounds like 90% of the tour will be unchanged. Some workers may or may not be there depending on if they want to work a little extra that Friday. I did not want everyone flying in from all parts of the country to see a few cubicles. Jane and Julie reassured me they will go the extra mile for the group and are even hinting that Paxson St Clair may stop by (schedule permitting). Malibu may have some reps there too.

The tour being given in the winter vs the summer is really a non-issue since every part of the tour is indoors with the exception of the short walk from the offices to the factory floor.

Overall it certainly will be worth the effort & time spent to attend. Whew. Between the tour and the freak show of representatives on this forum who plan on showing up, it will be one for the memory books....and one to cross off the bucket list...at least until the next one.

I'm out guys and gal. I would really like to attend, but my work load won't allow it. As a consultant I don't really get to pick and choose, and the project I'm currently working has an incredibly tight schedule.

Gonna miss this trip, which sounds like a blast. Take lots of pictures, and ask a whole lot go questions. We're gonna need some entertainment to get through the long, long, winter.
