UPDATE
I talked to Derek at the factory and got some additional information. One problem that cropped up is that Cobalt has made the decision to go to a four-day work week. That means that during our tour there will not be any production going on. He suggested we switch to a Monday or Tuesday and I told him that would be very difficult to do.
So, they will accommodate our tour with no problem. However he did request that I send him names of everyone attending. Send me a PM with your name and the names of anyone that may be coming with you. Wives, girlfriends, kids, husbands, dad's uncle's and brothers. They have also requested an accurate headcount but I told him that will change as time goes on and they're okay with that. Derek is the guy that was originally going to take Team Nauti around, but now will be taking us around. They may have to split our group into a couple of different tours but we'll see.
So, heres what we have so far..
Dec 13th
Arrive into Kansas City. The hotel is 30 or so miles from the airport. An Uber is appx $43. Double up!
Let's meet in the hotel lobby around 6 for hugs and kisses. We'll figure out how many vehicles we have and how to get everybody to the restaurant for dinner at Q39 BBQ at 7.
Dec 14th
Leave early for the tour at 10. They asked a couple of times what time we would be departing. I told him that we had the day on Friday so I don't know what they're planning. I don't know about lunch, if we're going to have something there or if we need to eat in town somewhere. That's still up in the air. Then Friday night its back to the hotel for lemonade. Some folks may need to head out Friday night. I will probably be one of them, and may leave to go south from the factory.
Dec 15th
Chris mentioned he is willing to put together a brewery tour if there's enough interest. He is also willing to arrange group transportation to the factory. I think one or two 15 passenger vans will be plenty but he said he may be able to get us a bus. We have time to talk about that and figure things out as we go.

When you call the hotel talk to Elizabeth in reservations. We have a block of rooms set aside at $123 for a king. It's slightly more for a double.
Seriously? I'm looking forward to meeting you guys more than I am touring the factory! I already have a durn boat...
