Amazing pics. The lightning is lighting up the water around those vehicles and makes the reflection look like they are electrified!

What is the pic of everyone walking in the sand? Are they walking up to a cave? What is that? And then the backshot looking back over the water is pretty cool too.

I was actually watching you tube vids of that earlier and a guy died going down that sand dune. I guess he got going really fast and then went tumbling down.

The sand hill is next to the Castle Rock Cut, here's a picture from google maps.

You can google Castle Rock sand hill and find people trying to run up it as a fitness challenge, doing backflips down it, and trying to ride boards down it. It's about 600 feet tall and the sand is so soft you sink almost up to your knees while trying to climb it. Lots of people get so tired they crawl on their hands and kees to reach the top because of the constant sinking and how steep it is.

Glad you guys like the pics, I'm trying to make a trip back to the Bullfrog side in a couple weeks where it will just be me and my wife. I should have lots more time for photographs on that trip.

And to answer a question, yes these cameras are mirrorless which basically allows them and their lenses to be built smaller than traditional slr camera systems such as Nikon and Canon. Olympus, Panasonic, Fuji, and Sony are all mirrorless now. Nikon and Canon are just starting to move in that direction with new camera designs currently being worked on.

My buddy just sent this pic. Theres one shallow spot near us. It is well marked, 50 feet deep all around it, but we see this all the time. I saw it twice last weekend.

I can imagine the phone call...

"Hey man, thanks for letting us borrow the boat last night. By the way, I left it parked up by Goat Island."
