I have been boating on Lake Huron for a while now but spent my first weekend on my new (to me) Cobalt 263. Love the boat so far and love the way it handles the water. Better performance than my 86 Baja Force 250 with way more room!

Welcome from California! Sharp 263 with the mesmerizing candied Red Stripes!
Those hulls are incredible in big water, and we would love to see under the hatches and cabin as those layouts are great!

It looks like it's in really nice shape. The wood isn't discolored or anything. Sweet ride.

I agree! Great shape RS. 👍🏻

What did you have plugged into that wire on the left side under the dash?

Also looks like you have the VP power plant. 380 horse GI or 420 horse GXI?

Btw, word of caution, take the ski pylon out before you lift the engine hatch. Design flaw.

Thanks for all the replies, I do appreciate it.

The wires under the dash are phone chargers from the previous owner that he had ran from the 12v plug under the dash. also a long aux cord is run from the cabin radio to the same location under the dash. Since the pictures I have removed the charging cord and the cell holder. I prefer a window mount for my phone because I find it much easier to use the Navionics app with my phone up where I can see it.

She has the 8.1 Gi, wish it was the 420 hp but it does run pretty strong.

Thanks for the advise on the ski pylon!!
