On my 2004 250, there are no drains in the rear of the Engine Hatch - just 2 small drain holes underneath the sun pad covers. After removing the sunpad cushions, it's clear to me that the way this is fabricated, there are cavities that are created when the different halves of the hatch were glued together, but those cavities can definitely get water in them. This was proven to me when I removed the hatch and found that there was a bunch of water still standing inside of it.
Then, while perusing the internet, I discovered that newer years of the 250 appeared to have some drain tubes connected to the hatch.
Is there anybody with a newer year 250 or even different model boat that has these drain hoses in the engine hatch that they can take some detailed photos of and shaare them here? I'm going to add drains to mine before I put it back on so that my hatch drains correctly. It's annoying to come back to the boat each weekend and get water poured on me and the engine when I open the hatch back up.
Thanks!
