Buck up people🤣
So how much snow load did you calculate on the the new boat accommodations. I'm thinking all that snow must weigh a few pounds?

Alaskabound wrote: Mon Apr 16, 2018 7:38 am No snow in Ky. yesterday but was cold & overcast so a good day to apply my first coat of wax. This pic was before I started so wasn't sure I even needed it lol but thought it would be good protection.

Can't believe snow pics. T's emoji was perfect. Good luck to you northerners. I normally don't think of Ky. As being in the south but after seeing those pictures, think I'll go out on the deck, have a mint julep, and try on my derby hat.

AJ, I used Meguiar's "cleaning wax" mainly because I had it left over from last year. There are so many choices now it's overwhelming. It's a liquid that I applied by hand then removed with an old orbital buffer and cotton towel, pretty old school. I used to wax the bottom but read an early thread on this forum that a lot of people only do the sides because a waxed bottom is slower. I'm not looking for more speed just an easier wax job!

I wax or seal the bottom to help keep it clean and so it cleans easier. On our slow boats I don't think it matters much.

My only question is how long does it last. Some people say after 1-3 outings and gone.

Who knows. But it's done. And it gets done again. The Adams is really easy to do so it happens more often.

We're coming up on the evening of the 5th and will stay through Sunday morning the 10th to head home. Hopefully TR and tgrace have run some recon down your way by the time I get there! it would be neat to get those two and F2F to come to the Liquid Lounge in a Cobalt Flotilla

TR Google 282 Sparrow Lane Shell Knob MO That's our address and the map will show the cove where the Liquid Lounge is located.
Let me know if that works for you?? There is one spot you need to know about that some call " Little Barbados" That is really shallow.
If it works I would be willing to meet up at the junction of the White river and the James??
