I'm really looking forward to our TRL trip in June. One of these days we may buy a place there. As long as it has a dock. We're definitely going to look around.

TR is a Corp lake, right? Are there places for sale with private docks out the back door or do you have to own something up on the hill (above the corp line) and drive to a dock? Gdane is your dock really close? Seems like you said you live in KC and have a weekend place?

That's what we have on Tenkiller. I bought a trailer that was custom built, so it's built like a house with 2x8 floors, 2x4 walls and 2x6 ceiling. All porcelain and house trim. Pretty solid, but I have to pay lot and slip rent every month and we have a great view with the dock only walking distance away.
Golf cart friendy and super "like minded" people that have become dear friends in our little community.

It's really weird buying a place there. Paying all that money and then they hand you the title to a trailer. There are houses up above the Corp line, but too far from the water. So I'm wondering if TRL is the same way?

Ytsm, Sorry for the late reply. These threads go sideways and i miss some of them. Anyway yes TR is a Corp lake love hate relationship we can get into that at another time. Our dock is close but steep slope to enter . We have a Mule that we use to transport people. cooler ect. on the dock.
We built the Liquid Lounge so that we can drive the mule and golf carts on the dock. There are a few private docks but the Corp isn't issuing any more permits for private docks. When you come you can see our set up and we can talk about the good and the bad about Corp lakes.

The Liquid Lounge sounds like quite the place! A dock where you're able to drive personal carts on

you could always check Springfield MO, It is about 30 minutes away from the Branson Area. But it is a regional airport as well.

Correct. I was thinking of that as well. I've been thinking about it the last two years. Every time a see a slip for sale too.

Definitely sounds like a landmark worth checking out.
