I actually didn't do this. That would be my old man again. That's a creek in his back yard (which turns into the Ohio River during rain/melts). He likes to drive in it and push rocks and sh*t around. Change the stream. He didn't have a good explanation as to how this happened. I don't ask too many questions. He's incredibly dangerous. Take a close look at thing. It's not gently used.

That's good stuff right there! I used to pull my kids on a saucer behind the 4 wheelers.
Okay, storytime...
Some of you already know one of my oars is a little shorter on one side than it is on the other, so this probably won't come as any surprise. Years ago for a short season (kinda like the fidget spinner season) they made these things called grass skis. They were about 3 or 4 feet long, with rollers and a rubber belt all the way around. The idea was to be able to, you guessed it, ski down a grassy slope. There's a big difference in falling on a grassy slope with rocks and crap sticking out then there is falling in the snow on a mountain side somewhere.
Anyway, I guess I never got that memo because I came up with what I thought was a great idea. Remember the commercial with the guys skiing on a river behind a horse? My brother and I used to do that all the time with four-wheelers on the river. We could go for a couple hundred yards, sometimes further before someone crashed. It was great fun!
So I get the idea of using a four-wheeler to pull me on my grass skies. At first it was pretty fun and worked fairly well. But then we got up to a pretty good speed and I crashed big time ass over teakettle. Needless to say, the grass skis were short-lived.
And nowadays kids ride those little pew pew bicycles with helmets on.

It was more fun being a kid back in our day!
As a 10 year old, I had this Honda 50 mini bike. After school, my friends and I used to get that thing up to top speed on th road, turn into my parents long driveway and hit a mound of dirt that acted like a ramp and see who could jump the farthest. You know, no helmet, no brains either .
That old Honda must have flown 100 miles, and never broke..
