Cobalt 220s Throttle Control
I need to increase RPMS without putting the boat in gear. Normally you push the "button" at the base of the throttle and it releases it to rev the engine. Does anyone know how to increase RPMs without putting the boat in gear?

You typically push the button and hold it in before moving the throttle forward. Sounds like you already did that, or almost did that.
