Electric arch gas shock

Post by Dafryguy »

I have a 2020 25SC and just had the port stabilizer gas shock on the power arch broke off. The arch still works but I need to hold it in the middle to help it stay centered. One side screws into the back of the arch and the other side has an attachment piece screwed on allowing it to be secured to the boat. The attachment piece snapped and Cobalt has been unresponsive on the replacement. Anyone have any ideas of where to source this attachment? Thanks,

It’s hard to tell from the picture but is the part that broke part of the gas strut? If so the strut should have part numbers on it. Start by googling the part numbers.

Can you unscrew that broken part off of the gas strut?

Replacement mounting eyes on ebay.

Or use this to find a complete gas spring.
