I'm used to a mooring cover from our previous boat and prefer that type. I can see pros and cons for each option but you stick with what you know:)

Right mooring cover is better for storage and a lift. I would still keep it for resale with the boat. Just me.

I agree with BBP.

Also the snaps are installed per cover/boat install, so if the next guy is just trying to replace a ripped cover chances are not all the snaps will be in the correct location.

I’m not trying to make you loose a sale but I agree with Dustin that the snaps might not line up with a different boat. I also have both covers with my R5 and I plan to keep the bow & cockpit covers for someday when my mooring cover needs repair or replacement, I will always have a backup. The bow & cockpit covers won’t go bad sitting in an bag in my basement.
