Hi All,
You may remember a couple posts from me last boating season (I live in NY so that seems forever ago) about a Cobalt 190 with a list to one side. Well turns out it seems to have saturation issues. After several fun rides on the lake, it spent the rest of the summer at the local Cobalt dealer/marina. They seemed unsure of how to to proceed and were dealing with the same staffing issues as everywhere, so it took the weeks and weeks to even get any info. We got bounced around from person to person with no real resolution. At one point we told them to go ahead and start coordinating the work, and then they just didn’t. Long story short we decided not to have it fixed as we could not get any straight info on what the cost would really be.
There was no visible hull damage so what they surmise may have happened is the bilge stopped working and it took on some water, perhaps even just rain water over a season, while slipped, before I owned it. Anyways. It seems this may be an issue out of my scope so I am thinking of starting over with another Cobalt. Do you think this boat would be of any interest to anyone? I know hull work is a major issue. It was the *last* issue I would expect to have with this boat. I’m very sad about this as I write it. Just looking for advice.

Or you can just keep on using it. I'm sure it won't get any worse? It wasn't that bad? Or just put all the batteries and extra weight on the opposite side?

Honestly - I hadn’t thought of this. Perhaps. We certainly did use it and it levels out at plane just fine.
