We have a Touareg TDI 3.0L (diesel) that's very similar to Driller's Cayenne, and love it. We only tow a 210, but it's on a double-axle trailer with surge brakes and it tows like a dream. Sometimes I think the biggest risk is forgetting it's back there...

Driller, turns out the trailer I have is an EZ-Loader custom (elite?), ordered by my dealer with cobalt logos, twin axles, surge brakes, a spare tire, and a nice winch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend checking one out.

Thanks for the input guys. The Touareg is the same vehicle. Slight performance tweaks, but for all practical purposes they are mechanically twins I think (Paternal not identical). Probably not a significant weight difference between the 210 and 242 relatively speaking.

It got lumped in with my boat, but I think it was around $4500 for the tandem axle trailer with disc brakes. I know some guys around here say brands like Heritage and Eagle can be comparable in certain product lines, but I basically went with what my local dealer (Erickson Marine) carried and recommended.
