I don't have the same boat, but I've always taken the bimini down completely to trailer/store it. I finally joined the club with a 2003 282. This boat is a dream. I do have questions about the bimini canvas and how it should be collapsed for storage/trailering. Does it fold forward? What do you do with the extension on the aft?
