I have a 360 model and my windlass sometimes slips on the anchor line. Im leaning towards replacing the line with all chain. Currently have around 20ft of chain then transitions to line.
Has anyone else done this? Any negatives to this conversion? Ive done the research, its only about 180lbs for ...

Has anyone replaced the generator impeller on a 2001-2005 360? Can it be done while in the boat or does Genny need to be removed from boat?

I know where my Volvo one is. I thought merc was on the starboard manifold by the ECU.


You are correct on the manifold loc on Merc engines, BUT that is for each engine. I have twins and am looking for the "hub" or master connector so I can read from both engines.
My boat may not have it...

Thank you! She's got the 496 H.O.'s. Not a first timer to boating, but am new to Cobalt. I've been boating on this lake for 20 years...

Thank you, and unfortunately no luck finding the longer windlass tool. The previous owner must have lost it.....

It's true, it is relatively shallow. Depth gauge and GPS are your best friend here...

New to me 2004 360

Anyone have/had a 2001-2006 360? The manual says there is a longer windlass tool under seat in cockpit. The shorty is in windlass locker.
I cannot find the longer one anywhere on my new-to-me 2004 360.
Better yet, does anyone have a pic?!
