I used to have a random vibration on my Volvo outdrive; it would be random, as in any trim up on the drive when starting the engine, it would have the drive shaking back and fourth, sending the boat into a mini booty shake. It was random and would happen for example at a sand bar or similar place ...

Side topic about the corsa actuators: do you guys get a rattle from the actuators at idle ,the cross bars from the solenoid to the valve arm?

If I grab the two bars or open up the actuators, they quiet down. The rods and bars seem to have so much play on them, they rattle pretty good. My boots also ...

I run about 75-100hrs a season at least, so i try to do it every year or two just in case...over doing it? not sure, but the old style belts, gatorback looking OEM belts, always seem to have these little cracks on them after some time and they feel super soft, so I just toss them...have had great ...

I dont know if it helps anyone in the future, but after a few trial and errors, looking at the Gates fleet runner catalog, i got belt K060910HD to work on my 8.1L GXi...the fleetrunner belts are much stronger and last way longer than the "volvo" branded belts. About 1/3 of the cost too!

How long would you guys say the a normal operating system should take to lift the hatch...in my particular case it takes a good 30-40 seconds id say to lift...and of coarse lowering the hatch is a fraction of the time.
