Sorry for not updating. Corrosion X treatment worked like a charm! Thanks all for the help!

Good looking boat bservis!! Have the same model with a yellow boot stripe, stainless tower, and light gray carpet. Upgraded from a’99 200 and was immediately blown away by the storage space as well. Happy boating!!

Re: Replacement gas cap for 2007 232?
@titaniumboy - to answer your questions: 1. Lanyard was severed when I bought the boat, so assuming that yes, the rest of the assembly is In the tank. 2. Cap will push down flush, but not stay there. Feels like a spring forcing it back up.

Re: Replacement gas cap for 2007 232?
Here’s some pics of what I’ve currently got going on. Call closes fine, but won’t collapse to flush mount and the leash is broken.
Thanks ahead of time for any help!

Good looking boat, and I agree, pretty nice for a “starter boat”

In search of new steering wheel
Been trolling eBay for a new steering wheel for the last several months with visions of a black leather Gussi with cobalt logo on the cap with no luck. Further internet searching has turned up a couple hits for Istossa wheels. Anybody here have experience with them? Or even better a lead on a Gussi?

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
We don’t trailer our boat as it stays in the slip all summer and winters in the marina’s storage building.
This little rig makes the 3 hour drive to the lake through the mountains of WV awfully fun, though.
2023 X5 M50i. Those twisty mountain roads make the painted calipers a PIA to keep clean.

Overpowered?
I’m all for excessive HP, but powering a tri tube with twin 400s on a 3,900 acre lake seems a bit excessive, no?

Vinyl lettering
Hey all, just finished installing lettering on our new boat. If anyone needs custom vinyl lettering I can’t recommend the folks at https://lettering.com/ enough. This is the second boat we’ve used their product on. Quality is fantastic and customer service is amazing. Happy boating!

Came up to our lake place last night for the 4th and were treated to a fantastic sunset from our deck. Bonus: pretty spectacular sunrise walking the dog this AM as well!
