Re: Cobalt 276 No Water Flow for Marine Toilet
Apparently, the plug in the seastrainer is important. It was loose and I couldn’t get suction.

Re: Cobalt 276 No Water Flow for Marine Toilet
OK, I did verify that the seacock is functioning. I pulled the hose from the seastrainer and opened the valve there is water coming in. So, next step is to check the seastrainer? I am guessing the impeller failed on the toilet but that seems like a bigger job that pulling the seastrainer.

Cobalt 276 Water Temp Probe not reading correct water temp
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot or replace the water temp probe on a Cobalt 276? Mine seems to be reading 100 degrees or so higher that normal. When I turn on the boat (cold start), it will show something like 178 degrees. Any ideas?

Cobalt 276 No Water Flow for Marine Toilet
I was a little late getting the boat in the water this year. I was travelling, I have a motor trim issue, then I spent a couple of days detailing inside and buff, polish, waxing to remove some oxidation.
Anyway, I finally got the boat in the water last Sunday. First use of the head and no water is ...

New Stereo Draining Battery
Last year, I upgraded my AMP and Stereo on my 276. Since the stereo was upgraded (the AMP was done a couple days later), my #1 Battery has been completely drained--this is with the battery in the OFF position. So, I've had to start the boat on 1+2 battery position and start to charge battery one ...

Re: 276 Amp and Factory Sub Location
Yes, I have a 276 and the AMP is located the starboard front lounge...mounted on the wall closest to the steering wheel. The subwoofer is under the driver's seat.

Re: Cobalt 276 Transom Speakers (No treble on one)
I did a quick check of the amp connections and that speaker is not connected to the sub output. So, I will trace the cables and see if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

Re: Lake Minnetonka Member-2009 Cobalt 276
Yes, I've had it on the lake the last couple of years. My buddy let my side-tie at his place on Old Channel Bay, which is just past Narrows bridge (major water way) so you may have seen it there but I have since moved so my dock is now on the other side of the lake.

The engine is the Volvo Penta 8.1 (496ci and 375hp) and the boat is on Lake Minnetonka in MN.

Re: Cobalt 276 Transom Speakers (No treble on one)
Mr Nauti, thanks for the reply. That might be it...maybe they mis-wired and I have 2 speakers connected to the sub output. I will give it a look.

I knew that song was in there somewhere.
I guess my next step is to run new cable, thanks for the quick reply.

Cobalt 276 Transom Speakers (No treble on one)
This is my fourth summer with my Cobalt 276. I have had an issue with one of the transom speakers since I purchased. The starboard side sounds fine and works as it should. On the port side speaker, only the woofer works. I figured it was a bad speaker since they sit outside all day and get wet ...

Additions to the 276 since I purchased:
Upgraded the carpet to the current generation SeaGrass, really changes the look of the boat
Perfect Pass Speed Control
Mooring Cover--to combat the bow cover leak (another post)
