I am guessing it was used in salt water?

I really like the new R26, back to the 21degree dead rise, interior design looks good, flooring looks good. the hydrologic swim step and flip step combo solves the getting out of the water issue of typical just flip swim step.

Other than the price, anything people don't like about it?

I got the surf balls from cobalt and they work great.

What happened to the engine?

So in relation to the Garmin setup, Garmin offers a lot of fuel monitoring that require sensors that Cobalt doesn't natively put in the boat. You would have to add the after market. Also includes things like air temp sensor, at least from 2019 on.

As long as the boat seems to sit level I personally wouldn't worry about that. Others may have a different opinion.

Taking the seat off is easy, I would 100% just take the seat back to the dealer. It is as simple as taking out around 6 screws on the bottom.
I can't believe the dealer made the replacement without noticing there wasn't a head rest!

That definitely sounds like a big problem.
You said it is brand new? I would have the dealer looking at it today. Run the engine for awhile to recharge the battery, or pull it out of the water if possible.

I have a 2019 but the controls changed somewhere around this time. Can you send a picture of your controls?

I had issues with my brothers '20 R5 where a channel that went out on the AMP as well, though he didn't have the Platinum Sound, one step down I believe?
I just put two sets of speakers going to the same channel. Not Ideal but cheaper than replacing the Amp.

You can also talk to your dealer and see if they would do a consignment sale? Maybe go ahead and talk to a broker and see what they would price it at. Probably the move expensive ...

I spend time on Norris with the same issue. Skip the cell phone booster, that would just by range to the next tower, if there is a mountain blocking your signal no amount of boost will get through it. I tried these years ago at my house on the lake before I was able to get internet.

I am not sure they ever use Kevlar Stringers, they are still doing the Kevlar Reinforced Hull.

I assume they are Garmin displays? If so download active captain and update them. I know somewhere around the 2020/2021 time frame they updated mine to make it boot up significantly faster when I start the boat. I am sure there are a LOT of updates since 2017

I would make them replace it each year until the warranty runs out. Then decide a path forward. That is horrible though.
