No not a Recall if it didn't have anything to do with emissions. And not really safety related.

I don’t hope for the best when i plop down more than $200k for a boat. Sorry. Hope is not a strategy at this price point.

So I need to be educated here. First I’ll say I am not mechanically inclined. I can check the oil and other fluids and I know where the gas goes. After reading these posts I’ve seen that having the wake come upon the boat can cause this, or cutting the throttle too quickly can cause it.

Honestly the best thing you can do to prevent this is to slow down slowly.
Or buy a mercury. They have flappers in the exhaust to help prevent this.
Is just has to be the right conditions for this to happen.
