I have a 2017 220 with a 300 HP Merc in it. You are looking at 52 mph at the top end with stock props. I ran a larger pitch prop on it last year for a while did not make much difference. For me it runs awesome and hole shots better than any other boat we run with.

I have a 2017 220 with the premium upgrade. Head unit is rockford with JL marine amps JL speakers and sub. Sounds really good. You can order an A25 with a mercury blue racing motor if you like. Friend has an A25 with a 520 big block in it. Sweet boat may go on sale soon.

Nothing wrong with mercury's new motors. I have one in my new 220. It is fast and has lots of toque just like the VP. I ordered it this way and would do it again. Nothing wrong with VP motors either.

+1 for Lake Viking cobalt dealer. Got a great deal on my 220 last year they beat out all the LOTO and TR dealers.

Does anyone know if they are having a 2018 Cobalt regatta at table rock this year? If so planning to be there for that.
