Re: Electrical issue on 2020 220s
Just a follow up — pending anything else they find during the repair — the two issues are unrelated. The tilt motor died and must be replaced, which should be covered under warranty. The relay for the speakers is corroded. The relays are a quick/cheap repair, so we are just going to replace the ...

Re: Electrical issue on 2020 220s
Krob1114, that’s encouraging! Opened it up but couldn’t find a fuse anywhere.

Re: Finding a boat slip
Yep, bought a used Ford F-150 with 187k miles just to haul the boat. Happy I’ll be able to bring it to different lakes, etc., though. Husband won’t stop teasing me about my two ton boat accessory.

Re: bilge pump
Newbie here, and had the same question. The owners manual says to test the bilge pump as part of the startup checklist, but how does one test it? If I flip on the switch and the light goes on but no water comes out, I’m guessing there just wasn’t any water in there? Any sense in occasionally adding ...

Electrical issue on 2020 220s
Just took delivery on a barely used 2020 220s. Only 20 hours, six months old, Volvo Penta 240sp. I had a marine surveyor test it out in Florida and it seemed fine, although power did cut out at one point in heavy surf, but it started right back up. After transport, I had my local dealer give it a ...

Krob1114, I haven’t gotten it yet, just something I’m considering.

Re: 220 ice chest /cooler size?
Has anyone tried a Yeti 35 in the space? Perhaps with modification to the cooler holder as described by @scsmith73? It seems to be the closest in size and shape to the igloo.

Re: 220 ice chest /cooler size?
Curios if anyone has tried the Yeti 35 in the space? The dimensions are similar but not exactly the same as the Igloo. Or has anyone found a Coleman model that works?

Re: Filler cushion for amidships?
Hi Krob1114,
I saw it on mosquitocurtsins.com. Sorry I can’t say more as I haven’t tried out this idea yet!

Filler cushion for amidships?
Has anyone thought about having a filler cushion made for the amidships area on a 220s? It would probably need some support, as it’s a large area, and I’m not sure where to store it when it’s not in use. My thought is to be able to create a large sleeping area to overnight on the boat. Perhaps using ...

Finding a boat slip
Any ideas how to get a boat slip this far into the season? We are experienced boat club members, but just purchased our first boat — a beautiful one year old 220s, which arrives later this week. As we didn’t know if we would find a boat to buy, it never even occurred to us that we wouldn’t be able ...

Re: 25 SC first boat
Hi, I'm getting my first Cobalt and need to arrange transport. Can I ask who you used, and if you were happy with them?
Thanks!
