Update: your arch delaminating issue to be reviewed by Cobalt warranty engineering for further consideration for warranty replacement and was approved.
Couple of months later - it arrived, dealer installed and good to go.
Sure Cobalt Boast cost more than competitors, however, I have had two ...

Re: 2020 SC25 Sport Tower Corrosion
Cobalt covered it under warranty and has replaced it. Took a while, picking it up this week - weather permitting.

2020 SC25 Sport Tower Corrosion
From reading other posts (thank you) and looking at the exact same pictures of paint peeling and bubbles on my Tower, I am curious what the Cobalt Warranty is?
Love Cobalt otherwise.
Thanks for any and all responses.

Re: Manual Folding Arch - 1 Person or 2 Person job
Thanks for the responses, was muchado about nothing as once the knobs were opened up the arch moved down and the built in latch holds it in place. Appreciate the responses and pictures.

Manual Folding Arch - 1 Person or 2 Person job
2020 25SC with manual arch - once I loosen the two knobs on the arch plate, do I simply yank on the front of it to pull it down?
Last thing I want to do is have it slam down and damage the boat.
Does this require a couple of folks (due to weight) or is it as simple as it appears?
Thanks in ...

Re: Power-Pole on a 25SC ?
Thanks - I have a pair of Fortress anchors, they work amazing. Was thinking of something quick and painless, however, you are 100% correct, I would need a pair of them to hold in place plus one off the bow in the currents down here. I am gonna stick with what I have. Cheers.

Power-Pole on a 25SC ?
We do a lot of sandbar socializing - a Power-Pole would be very handy and I was curious if anyone on the Forum has had one installed?
Any Pictures of the mounting bracket would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Re: 2020 Cobalt SC25 Bowrider - 100 Hour Review, Observations & Ratings
If you have easy access to your boat, one thing I would strongly recommend is to open up your seats and check the screws and washers that hold the rubber seat bumps on the bottom. More than a few newer Cobalt Owners have commented over cocktails on the sandbar that the washers/screws rusted quickly ...

Re: 2020 Cobalt SC25 Bowrider - 100 Hour Review, Observations & Ratings
Yes Sir. Did a couple of things. 1st - carefully using a slightly larger drill bit I increased the size of the whole. 2nd thing I did was to use a piece of weed-wacker line to push in and twirl it around to help clean out the general area of the hole at both ends. My guess is that shards of ...

Boat Carpet Missing Floor Snap Quick Fix
I borrowed the saggy door hinge trick for a pulled out floor snap and it worked and has stayed put for 2 years.
Simply take a wooden Golf T and apply a good dab of white marine grade glue and push into hole where the snap pulled out.
Let is sit overnight.

Lighting Detector - Talos
We get a lot of lighting in Florida and it is especially worrisome for obvious reasons. A person (God Rest His Soul) was struck and killed on a beach.
The active storm was 20+ miles away.
Clear Sky and Lighting struck.
I did a lot of research and found Talos, I like it as it is ultra easy to ...

At the time, on a one year old boat, you betcha a small bag of stainless screws would have made my day.

SIONYX NIGHTWAVE SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION
Here is my approach to a clean integrated installation of NightWave that can be accomplished in a couple of hours with minimal experience and tools you already own - difficulty is about the same as installing Smart Doorbell or Thermostat in your home.
