My son in law was a senior pilot for Delta. Mostly 747 which he loved. His name is Don Huffmaster...maybe you know him. He's retired now. Age got him.
Good Morning Lee,
I was based in JFK when NWA first got the B747-400 and then followed the airplane to DTW where I remained until retirement. I ...

Re: Cobalt 222
Yes, I remember Sheila and YES she did take good care of us. We would often call to "check in" while tied up in the 240 parking lot.
Greers Ferry lake is a much cleaner and clearer lake than Pickwick. If it had access to the intercoastal waterways, that is where I would want to be.

Welcome Rusty!
Along with the pictures request, we'd like to know more about you.
To me, the Mid South capital is Memphis...where we almost live.
Where do you boat?
The boat is in the hangar for winter storage and will go back in the water when the grandkids get out of school. I live just east ...

I have owned my 222 since new (2007) and as most boat owners, used it a lot the first several seasons. Living in the midsouth, our season will run well into October with warm ...

Re: Captain's Call Off and still LOUD.
Thanks to all that took the time to share their thoughts and wisdom. I am a HUGE advocate of special interest Forums and appreciate the wealth of knowledge.
Regarding pictures... like they say, no pictures... it didn't happen! Well, I need to scour my hard drive to find some decent pics of the boat ...

Re: Captain's Call Off and still LOUD.
I know people buy this option but I've never understood it. I know operating a powerboat isn't getting back to nature like paddling a canoe, but it seems like it is as compared to driving a muscle car down the street on cruise night. Loud exhausts on boats operating in cottage country just seem ...

Re: Captain's Call Off and still LOUD.
.
Hey Rusty. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!
It is normal for a slight amount of the exhaust to exit thru the hull with the thru the prop option selected. That being said the sound should be significantly reduced when the thru the prop option is selected. There are two ...

Captain's Call Off and still LOUD.
Hello,
I have owned my 2007 Cobalt 222 since new and have enjoyed many seasons with her.
I have always noticed this boat was "louder" than my previous Regal but I just assumed that was the nature of this beast.
This year while I was returning her to summer time status, I noticed exhaust exiting ...
