Hi Cobalt friends. Today we installed the engine.

Hi Guys, I need to buy a throttle control for my 1991 cobalt condurre 222, with a mercruiser 7.4 bravo. I need some help, I don’t know the part number or how to find a suitable throttle control. Attached is the picture of the original one. I really Appreciate the advice and help. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for all your comments, definitely the gas I need to keep posting updates!

I see a lot of threads on other forums with ground up restores. A lot of them are on boats that don't really deserve it in the first place....like Bayliners.

Nice to do it on a boat that actually has some underlying value.

Out of curiosity, what did you do with the stringers and transom ...

One more week for the engine to come, we didn’t open it. Full mantainance and new spare part for usual. Any heads up?

Where did you get a new engine?

I had a scare with my current(for sale) non Cobalt boat and was looking at a new 7.4L ...

This is some interior pics... we still in process but we did change all wood to fiberglass including floor and transom.
