Re: Here it goes again - 1999 Cobalt 292 Refresh

Are you running your SeaDek to the edge of the platform? Or to the edge of the knurling/texture?

Re: 1996 220 Project

The shop you see in the background is the family business: Riverside Performance Engines. They started out as Riverside Marine and was the factory authorized remanufacturer of Johnson/Evinrude for decades. I left in 2008 to serve in the Marine Corps, but they've since expanded into other markets, to ...

Re: 1996 220 Project

Work has hit a standstill—I’ve got this terrible problem that really gets in the way called a job. In the meantime, I’d like some advice on what I’m doing wrong with my depth finder. The screen is located between my tach and speedometer. It remains blank until I press and hold a silver button on the ...

Re: 1996 220 Project

Replaced both trim solenoids, the power trim bracket with a nice stainless one, the starter and starter solenoid, and all the belts. Swim platform starts tomorrow. Going to have a hard time competing with baktasht on this board.

In the mean time, does anyone know where I can get replacements for ...

Re: 1996 220 Project

First question for the group. I will need a boat lift for this ole girl. Dry weight is listed as 3140 pounds. Presumably that is equipped with the 5.7--not the 454. It has a 59 gal capacity, so roughly 240 pounds there. My options on a lift are 4,500 pounds or 6,800 pounds.

What do y'all recommend ...

1996 220 Project

Good morning Cobalt Crowd,

Like I posted up in the member introduction, I found a 1996 220 with a little under 500 hours with a 454 and Bravo Three. It's been pampered to the nth degree and I am trilled about it. Swimplatform.com swim platform is ordered. Other intended projects include EFI ...

Re: New Member with 96 220

Brand new Greer's Ferry guy.

But growing up, we spent every weekend at Ouachita. My folks had a houseboat from 1993 to 2020 at Mountain Harbor.

Re: New Member with 96 220

I really want to run the Edelbrock kit. But it is looking like Holley Sniper is the only one approved for marine applications at this time. Stay tuned. Open to recommendations.

New Member with 96 220

After looking for 8 weeks or so, we finally landed a super clean 220. It’s a little older than I was looking for, but it’s been pampered—and the 454 with less than 500 hrs helped too.

Trailering it back and forth to the lake now, but off-season will include swim platform, EFI conversion ...

Re: WTB 210 thru 252

Many thanks. I’m at Greers Ferry, Arkansas. This will be mostly a cruising, kids-swimming-off-the-back, tubing, and—depending how bad the wake is—skiing boat.

WTB 210 thru 252

Good evening folks—

First time poster here. I grew up on cobalts and have owned a handful of different small hunting and fishing boats. I joined the Marine Corps with no kids and bid farewell to the Marine Corps a few months ago with three. Not sure how that happened..... but I am introducing my ...
