Re: Garmin Water Temp Issue
Did you figure this out? I have a 2020 r5 and the depth finding keeps holding at 1.6ft. It happened before while on warranty but I cannot remember what they did to fix the issue.

Re: Winterize R5 Surf with quick drain
You will want to run it more than a few minutes to get the stabil to go through the system. Also the oil won't get warm that fast if your changing your own oil. I run mine at least 15 minutes. Feel the oil filter housing.
Also if it was me I would put water safe antifreeze in the ballast tanks ...

Winterize R5 Surf with quick drain
Has anyone taken the time to list all steps required to properly winterize a newer R5 Surf (2020) with the volvo quick drain? I also see a lot of debate on whether or not fogging is necessary or not on new engines. I live in Atlanta Georgia so we don't see long, deep freezing winters. Staying below ...

Re: R5 Underwater light install
Would be happy to help. No beers required, but always appreciated. Where do you keep your boat? We are at lazy days. Send me a pm and I’ll send my cell and we can discuss. Very easy install.
Oh, and highly unlikely you drove our boat. I was there the day it arrived in plastic and specified it ...

Re: Bluetooth has feedback, new Rockford Fosgate system
As an update we had the local stereo outfitter review our system and they found zero issues with the wiring.
I tested a USB & Aux input to hardwire from my phone to stereo and the output is at least 50% greater. This seems like a big dropoff for hardwire vs bluetooth but maybe it's just ...

Re: How many have a fuel flow sensor?
I realize that this is an older thread. I just ordered a new 2020 R7 surf... we have about 12 hours on her now. Was out today and noticed the Gal per hour at Zero when under way. Anyone have any more info on this. Thanks in advance for your time.
I have a 2020 R5 Surf and also have no output on ...

Re: Wakeboard Wake (vs Surf wave) Setup on R7 Surf?
So you fill the two side tanks halfway - do you do anything else? Adjust the trim or just keep auto trim turned on & surf system in manual mode?
Looking forward to also giving this a try.

Re: Ballast tanks losing water after filling.
One side ballast on my R5 surf seems to fill with water at times when we leave it on the water. Not entirely sure if it happens while stationary or driving.
You think the solution is creating a loop in the fill line? Might need to inquire with my dealer this fall.
I got the dealer to ...

Re: R5 Underwater light install
OP we keep our boat on lake Lanier and I want to do this. How many beers do I need to pay you to complete this for me? :)
In all seriousness, why did you need connector for port and starboard for this to work? Wouldn’t just one connection make do?
PS we might have test driven your boat before we ...

Re: Bluetooth has feedback, new Rockford Fosgate system
.
Do you have a zone controller onboard HG? If so, you might want to try adjusting your BT sensitivity.
This is from a Wet Sounds BT220 Zone controller which many times are paired with RF systems...
.
.
Would the zone controller be at the headunit or amp, or is that a separate ...

Re: Bluetooth has feedback, new Rockford Fosgate system
If memory serves me right. Hold down the menu button, if will take you to advanced settings. I believe if you click on zone there is options to change the gain on Bluetooth, radio, etc.
Yes correct. I did try that but did not have much effect.
