Potentially in the market for an R6 or R8 Surf. Located on Lake Travis. Fresh water only. Would love the opportunity to sit/ride in one with a local owner first if anyone is open to that.

We priced ours out at $612k. I added the thingamajig cause why not? If it keeps everyone from getting sea sick then it’s a no brainer. I was thinking of selling all my assets and the two kids. I could sleep in the bathroom if needed.

You are correct. I don’t think that most people realize a 3/4 ton doesn’t have much more payload capacity than a half ton truck. Especially if the 3/4 ton has diesel engine. My wife’s F150 has a payload of just over 1600lbs, most 3/4 tons are around 2300-2500lbs, some can be slightly higher ...

Just my two cents… when I ordered my truck I was really surprised to see that (back in 2019, who knows now) it was only a few hundred dollars, literally $200 to go from a 3/4 to a 1 ton or F250 to F350. It’s really nice to not have to worry about payload When we pack up for a week at the lake :0 ...

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a locking fuel cap for a 2019 R5? Would like it to appear stock.

I have one these but it doesn’t fit in the gas filler tube.
